বৃহস্পতিবার কোম্পানির পরিচালনা পর্ষদের সভায় শেয়ারহোল্ডারদের ১২ শতাংশ শেয়ার লভ্যাংশ দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত হয়। এছাড়া আগামী ৫ জুলাই কোম্পানির বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভা (এজিএম) অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এ সংক্রান্ত রেকর্ড ডেট আগামী ১৮ মে।
সমাপ্ত অর্থবছরে এ কোম্পানির শেয়ারপ্রতি আয় হয়েছে ১.৩২ টাকা ও শেয়ারপ্রতি সম্পদমূল্য দাঁড়িয়েছে ১৫.১০ টাকা।
২০০৯ সালেও কোম্পানিটি ১২ শতাংশ শেয়ার লভ্যাংশ দিয়েছিল।
বৃহস্পতিবার এ কোম্পানির শেয়ার দর ১ টাকা কমে সর্বশেষ ১৫৪.৪০ টাকায় লেনদেন হয়।
The registration of Tk 5,000 crore ‘Bangladesh Fund’, meant for buttressing the falling stock market, was completed Thursday.
“In the presence of representatives of all sponsor institutions, the state-run Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) registered the fund,” said ICB Managing Director M Fayequzzaman.
Earlier on April 18, the Securities and Exchange Commission endorsed the fund meant for spurring the buying and selling of shares as part of bailout measures for stabilizing the share market, reeling from the worst-ever shocks.
Of the funds, Tk 1500 crore would be invested in the capital market through IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the first phase. With Tk 100 face value the market lot of the fund would be 1000 in unit, he added.
The state-run investment outfit and seven other state-owned financial institutions on March 6 announced the decision to create the syndicated fund.
The seven other SoEs are Sonali Bank, Janata Bank, Agrani Bank, Rupali Bank, Bangladesh Development Bank, Sadharan Bima Corporation and Jibon Bima Corporation
