ভারতের সাথে বিলিয়ন ডলার ঋণচুক্তির আওতায় আরো ৪টি নতুন বিদ্যুৎ প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে সরকার। এসব প্রকল্পের আওতায় বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রের উৎপাদন ক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি, ১৬০ কিলোমিটার সঞ্চালন লাইন নির্মাণ এবং ১০টি নতুন সাবস্টেশন স্থাপন করা হবে। এর জন্য মোট ব্যয় ধরা হয়েছে ২ হাজার ১শ ৬৩ কোটি টাকা। এসব প্রকল্পে ভারতীয় ঋণ ব্যবহৃত হবে ১ হাজার ৩শ ৩৫ কোটি টাকা।
