ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে (ডিএসই) বুধবার সকালে দরপতন হওয়ায় বিক্ষোভ করছে বিনিয়োগকারীরা। একদল বিক্ষোভকারী কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের কার্যালয় ঘেরাও করে রেখেছে। জুতা হাতে মিছিলও করছেন তারা।
দিনের লেনদেন শুরু হওয়ার আধাঘন্টার মধ্যেই সাধারণ মূল্যসূচক ১২০ পয়েন্ট পড়ে গেলে বিক্ষুব্ধ হয়ে ওঠে বিনিয়োগকারীরা। হাজার বিনিয়োগকারী রাস্তায় নেমে পড়ে।
এতে ডিএসই সংলগ্ন মতিঝিলের ব্যস্ত ওই সড়কে গাড়ি চলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। বিক্ষোভকারীরা মধুমিতা সিনেমা হলের সামনের সড়কে কাগজ স্তূপ করে তাতে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেয় বিক্ষোভকারীরা।
এসময় বিনিয়োগকারীরা বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের গভর্নরের বিরুদ্ধে স্লোগান দেন। তাদের অভিযোগ, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের হস্তক্ষেপের কারণে পুঁজিবাজারে দরপতন হচ্ছে।
বেলা ১১টার কিছু পরেই সাধারণ সূচক প্রথমে ১০৬ পয়েন্টর মতো কমে যায়। এরপর তা আবার বাড়তে থাকে। পরে সাধারণ সূচক ৬১ পয়েন্ট কমে দাঁড়ায় ৭৯১৯ পয়েন্টে।
দুপুর ১২টা পর্যন্ত ঢাকা শেয়ারবাজারে মোট ২১০টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের শেয়ার লেনদেন হয়। এর মধ্যে বেশির ভাগ প্রতিষ্ঠানের শেয়ারের দামই কমেছে। দাম বাড়ে ৫১টির, অপরিবর্তিত আছে আটটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের। কমে ১৫১টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের শেয়ারের দাম। ওই সময় পর্যন্ত মোট লেনদেন হয় ২৫৭ কোটি টাকা।

ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে (ডিএসই) বুধবার সকালে দরপতন হওয়ায় বিক্ষোভ করেছেন বিনিয়োগকারীরা। বিক্ষোভকারীদের হঠাতে পুলিশ লাঠিচার্জ, টিয়ার সেল নিপে ও জলকামান ব্যবহার করেছে।
বুধবার দিনের লেনদেনের শুরুতেই মূল্যসূচক ১২০ পয়েন্ট কমে গেলে কয়েক হাজার বিনিয়োগকারী রাস্তায় নেমে পড়ে।
বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের হস্তেক্ষেপর কারণে পুঁজিবাজারে এই পতন বলে দাবি করে তারা গর্ভনরের বিরুদ্ধে স্লোগান দিতে থাকেন। গভর্নর ছাড়াও, ডিএসই ও এসইসি’র প্রধানদের পদত্যগ দাবি করে স্লোগান দিয়ে মিছিল করতে থাকে বিক্ষোভকারীরা।
জুতা হাতেও মিছিল করে বিক্ষোবকারীরা। তাদের মিছিলের কারণে ডিএসই সংলগ্ন মতিঝিলের ব্যস্ত ওই সড়কে গাড়ি চলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। মধুমিতা সিনেমা হলের সামনের সড়কে কাগজ স্তূপ করে তাতে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেন বিক্ষোভকারীরা।
এভাবে বিক্ষোভ চলতে থাকলে পুলিশ ও র‌্যাব সদস্যরা সেখানে অবস্থান নেয়। প্রায় দুই ঘণ্টা বিক্ষোভের পর ১টা ৫৫ মিনিটে একটি জল কামানের গাড়ি সেখানে পৌঁছে। এরপরই পুলিশ অ্যাকশানে যায়। হঠাৎ করেই জলকামান থেকে পানি ছোড়া শুরু হয়। একই সঙ্গে চলে লাঠিপেটা। বিক্ষোভকারীর ছোটাছুটি করে আশপাশের ভবনগুলোর ছাদে উঠে পড়েন। সেখান থেকে পুলিশকে লক্ষ করে ইট পাটকেল ছোড়া শুরু করে। পুলিশও তাদের ল করে কাঁদানে গ্যাস ছোড়ে।
প্রায় ২০ মিনিট ধরে এভাবে চলার পর পরিস্থিতি শান্ত হয়ে আসে। দুপুর সোয়া ২টার পর মতিঝিল এলাকায় যান চলাচল শুরু হয়।
এদিকে ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে লেনদেন চলতে থাকে। সকাল ১১টার কিছু পরেই সাধারণ সূচক পড়তে শুরু করে। বিক্ষোভকারীরা রাস্তার নামার পর তা আবার কিছুটা বাড়তে থাকে। দুপুর ২টা ২৫ মিনিটে সূচক আগের দিনের চেয়ে ৮০.৮৬ পয়েন্ট কম ছিলো। এসময় সূচক দাঁড়ায় ৭৯০০.১৭ পয়েন্ট।
এসময় দিনে মোট মোট লেনদেন হওয়া ২৪২ টি কোম্পানির শেয়ারের মধ্যে দাম কমে ২০৮টির ও দাম বাড়ে মাত্র ২৯টির। ৫টির শেয়ারের দাম ওই সময় পর্যন্ত অপরিবর্তিত ছিলো।
এ পর্যন্ত মোট লেনদেন হয়েছে ৭৫১ কোটি টাকার শেয়ার।

Cashlink Bangladesh Limited (CBL) was formed as a company to carry on the business of providing integrated electronic financial payment and transaction processing solutions in Bangladesh, including co-ordination and deployment of independent branded automated teller machines (ATM) and electronic fund transfer through point of sales and to provide pre-paid card, debit card and credit card processing services. CBL also would facilitate e-commerce facility to its Member Banks.
