Both the country’s two bourses witnessed fall in indices on Thursday.
The DSE general index shed 37 points to stand at 5,161 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
The volume of transactions also slightly tumbled to Tk 4,359 million from Wednesday’s Tk 4,991 million. Trade deals stood at 105,688 against the previous day’s 108,782.
Of the issues traded, 77 advanced, 178 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 453 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were JAMUNAOIL, GP, MPETROLEUM, BEXIMCO, SQURPHARMA, RNSPIN, TITASGAS, LAFSURCEML and GPHISPAT.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,757 by dropping over 111 points.
