শেয়ারবাজার :::: পুঁজিবাজারে অব্যাহত দরপতনের প্রতিবাদে আজ সোমবার বেলা সোয়া দুইটার দিকে ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জের (ডিএসই) সামনে বিনিয়োগকারীরা বিক্ষোভ করেন। এ সময় তাঁরা অর্থমন্ত্রী, ডিএসই সভাপতি ও এসইসির চেয়ারম্যানের পদত্যাগ দাবি করে তাঁদের বিরুদ্ধে স্লোগান দেন।
ক্ষুব্ধ বিনিয়োগকারীরা শেয়ারবাজারে দরপতনের প্রতিবাদ জানান ও এতে স্থিতিশীলতা ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে আসার দাবি জানান।
বেলা আড়াইটার দিকে এসইসির চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক এম খায়রুল হোসেন ডিএসই পরিদর্শনে আসেন।
আজ ডিএসইতে দিনের লেনদেন শেষে সাধারণ মূল্যসূচক ৯.০৫ পয়েন্ট বেড়ে ৫,৬৯৫.৭৭ পয়েন্টে দাঁড়ায়। আজ লেনদেন হওয়া ২৫৭টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে বেড়েছে ১৪৫টির, কমেছে ৯৫টির এবং অপরিবর্তিত রয়েছে ১৭টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের দাম। স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে মোট ৩৪১ কোটি টাকার লেনদেন হয়েছে, যা গত দিনের চেয়ে ১৩ কোটি টাকা কম।
আজ ডিএসইতে লেনদেনের প্রথম ঘণ্টা শেষে দরপতন শুরু হয়। দরপতনের এ ধারা চলে বেলা আড়াইটার পর্যন্ত। তবে লেনদেনের শেষ দিকে সূচক গত দিনের চেয়ে কিছুটা বেড়ে যায়।
আজ ডিএসইতে লেনদেনে শীর্ষে থাকা ১০টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের তালিকায় রয়েছে—লঙ্কা বাংলা ফাইন্যান্স, ইউসিবিএল, এনবিএল, বেক্সিমকো, এম আই সিমেন্ট, ইউনাইটেড এয়ারওয়েজ, পিএলএফএসএল, সিটি ব্যাংক, বিএসআরএম স্টিল ও পূবালী ব্যাংক।

The meeting, chaired by Finance minister AMA Muhith, also approved import of around 25,000 tonnes of white paper for printing books for distributing free of cost to secondary-level students during the 2012 academic year.
The committee gave nod to the proposal for import of 50,000 tonnes of rice to be supplied by Phoenix Commodities Pvt Ltd of British Virgin Island at US$509 per tonne.
At the exchange rate of Tk 74.50 per dollar, the government will have to spend around Tk 1.90 billion for import of the said amount of rice.
Besides, the committee approved a proposal for import of 215,000 tonnes of urea fertiliser at a cost of Tk 6.68 billion. Of the amount, 200,00 tonnes will be supplied by Korean Autoen Co Ltd while 15,000 tonnes will be procured from Saudi Arabia by the state.
According to the proposal of industries ministry, the total demand for fertiliser in the next fiscal year has been estimated at 3.0 million tonnes. Of the amount, 1.0 million tonnes will be manufactured locally and 2.0 million tonnes will be imported.
In the next year, 85 million textbooks will be distributed to secondary level students free of cost. Ten bidders will supply about 25,000 metric tonnes of white paper at a cost of Tk 2.23 billion, meeting source said.
