SEC has approved the Rights Issue of Continental Insurance Ltd. for(২:১ রাইট এপ্রুভ করেছে এসইসি,ইসু প্রাইস ১৫০ টাকা) 9,07,500 Ordinary Shares of Tk. 100.00 each at an issue price of Tk. 150.00 per share (including a premium of Tk. 50.00 each) totaling Tk. 13,61,25,000.00 only at a ratio of 1R: 2, i.e., one rights share for two existing shares. The approval has been accorded subject to the condition that the company shall comply with the requirements embodied in the Securities and Exchange Commission (Rights Issue) Rules, 2006 and other relevant laws and Regulatory Requirements, and shall also adhere to the conditions imposed by SEC under Section-2CC of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969.
