Premier Bank Limited managers were advised to look for new opportunities, diversify business areas and downsize unnecessary cost with a view to contributing national economy.
Chairman of the bank Dr HBM Iqbal gave this advice while speaking as the chief guest at the Annual Management Conference-2011 in the city recently, said a press release.
Vice Chairman BH Haroon MP and former additional managing director Md Mokhlesur Rahman attended the conference as the special guests.
Managing Director of the bank Niaz Habib presided over the conference.
Directors Moin Iqbal, Shah Mohammad Nahyan Haroon, Md Imran Iqbal and Kazi Abdul Mazid and Additional Managing Director Abu Haniff Khan, all branch managers along with all division heads were present on the occasion.
The chairman expressed his satisfaction over the efforts of the employees and achievement of the bank for the year 2010.
He advised all branch managers to take highest alertness during loan disbursement and to make sure up-to-date technique in boosting business.
Mr Haroon directed the managers to be sincere and honest in every moment which is the key weapon to ensuring highest ethical standard at work place. He also thanked the branch managers for the success of 2010.
