How to lose weight
দুই দিন বন্ধ থাকার পর আজ মঙ্গলবার ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে (ডিএসই) লেনদেন শুরুর এক ঘণ্টার মধ্যে অধিকাংশ কোম্পানির দাম সার্কিট ব্রেকারে পৌছে । ফলে ওই কোম্পানিগুলোর লেনদেন সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে।
ডিএসই সূত্রে জানা যায়, আজ চাঙাভাবের মধ্য দিয়ে লেনদেন শুরু হয়। কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যে বেশির ভাগ কোম্পানির শেয়ারের দাম সার্কিট ব্রেকার স্পর্শ করে। এর ফলে ওই সব কোম্পানির ক্রেতা থাকলেও বিক্রেতা না থাকায় লেনদেন সাময়িকভাবে বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। তবে কোনো বিনিয়োগকারী সার্কিট ব্রেকারের কম দামে শেয়ার বিক্রি করতে চাইলে বিক্রি করতে পারবেন।
বিনিয়োগকারীরা জানান, গতকাল সোমবার সিকিউরিটিজ অ্যান্ড এক্সচেঞ্জ কমিশন (এসইসি) কোম্পানির সার্কিট ব্রেকার অর্ধেকে নামিয়ে আনে। এর ফলে কোম্পানিগুলোর দাম বৃদ্ধি বা কমার সীমা আগের থেকে কমে আসায় এ অবস্থা হয়েছে। তাঁরা আরও জানান, আজ বাজার চাঙা হলেও সার্কিট ব্রেকারের সীমা কমে আসায় তাঁরা শেয়ার কেনা-বেচা করতে পারছেন না কিন্তু তারা বাজারের এই পরিস্থিতিতে খুব খুশি ।

Of the traded issues, 245 advanced and 13 declined.
As per the decision taken by Securities and Exchange Commission, trading at Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges remained suspended on Sunday and Monday after DSE general index on Thursday fell 587.04 points despite the circuit breaker provision to control abnormal rise and fall in index.
Earlier on Thursday, Finance Minister AMA Muhith sat with the stockholders to find ways to help stocks bounce back from the current crash a day after he admitted that there was something amiss from his side and the SEC in controlling the volatile market.
A number of decisions and recommendations came from the meeting.
