শেয়ারবাজার :::: দেশের বাণিজ্যিক ব্যাংকগুলোর বিমান, সমুদ্র/নৌ ও স্থলবন্দরস্থ বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা লেনদেনকারী (এডি) শাখাগুলো আগামী ৩০ আগস্ট মঙ্গলবার খোলা থাকবে।
ঈদের ছুটির আগে ও পরে সরকারি এবং সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি থাকায় বৈদেশিক বাণিজ্য লেনদেনে বিঘœ সৃষ্টি হতে পারে বিধায় বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক বৃহস্পতিবার এ সংক্রান্ত একটি সার্কুলার জারি করেছে।
প্রসঙ্গত ঈদুল ফিতর উপলক্ষে আগামী ৩০ ও ৩১ আগস্ট এবং ১ সেপ্টেম্বর সরকারি ছুটি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের সার্কুলারে আরও বলা হয়, ইতোপূর্বে জারিকৃত ডস সার্কুলার ১৮ মোতাবেক দেশের বৈদেশিক বাণিজ্যের লেনদেনের সুবিধার্থে বাণিজ্যিক ব্যাংকগুলোর বিমান, সমুদ্র/নৌ ও স্থল বন্দরস্থ বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা লেনদেনকারী সব শাখা শুক্র ও শনিবার খোলা রাখার বিধান রাখা হয়েছে। এছাড়া দেশের অন্যান্য স্থানে অবস্থিত আমদানি-রপ্তানি বাণিজ্য লেনদেন সংশ্লিষ্ট অন্যান্য অথোরাইজড ডিলার শাখাগুলোর মধ্যে যে সব শাখা খোলা রাখা প্রয়োজন সেসব শাখা ব্যাংকগুলো স্বীয় বিবেচনায় শনিবার খোলা রাখতে পারে।

DSE gains 80pt, CSE 152 Thursday

In the gaining process, the volume of transactions stood at Tk 545 crore at the close of trading on the last day of the week against Wednesday’s Tk 544 crore. The trade deals, however, tumbled to 113,271 against the previous day’s 114,751.
The benchmark general index of the DSE gained over 80 points to close at 6,211.
Of the issues traded on the day, 201 advanced, 44 declined and six remained unchanged.
JAMUNAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 672 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were TITASGAS, LAFSURCEML, CITYBANK, UNITEDAIR, ONEBANKLTD, GP, SQURPHARMA and ISLAMIBANK.
Besides, Chittagong stock’s Selective Categories Index also climbed up to 11,327 by gaining over 152 points Thursday. The turnover on the CSE stood at Tk 57 crore.
Out of traded issues, 160 gained, 26 declined and three remained unchanged.
The DSE general index stood at 6,045 on August 23, falling from 6,710 on July 25.
“Today’s (Wednesday) gains are because of the government’s Tuesday’s decision to set a uniform face value of shares and mutual fund units at Tk 10 for all across the board from December 1,” said an analytical view earlier.
