শেয়ারবাজার :::: দেশের শেয়ারবাজারের প্রতি বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীদের আগ্রহ বেড়েছে। সম্প্রতি শেয়ারবাজারে বিনিয়োগ কার্যক্রম শুরু করেছে বিশ্বের বৃহত্তম ফান্ড ব্যবস্থাপনা প্রতিষ্ঠান গোল্ডম্যান স্যাকস এবং বিশ্বের দ্বিতীয় বৃহত্তম ফান্ড ব্যবস্থাপনা প্রতিষ্ঠান ফ্রাঙ্কলিন টেম্পলটন[Golgman Sacks and Franklin Templeton is investing in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE)]। মূলত অর্থনৈতিক সম্ভাবনার কারণেই বিদেশি বিনিয়োগকারীরা বাংলাদেশের শেয়ারবাজারে বিনিয়োগে আগ্রহী হয়ে উঠেছে বলে জানা গেছে।
এদিকে ফ্রাঙ্কলিন টেম্পলটন দেশের পুঁজিবাজারে বিদেশি বিনিয়োগের অ্যাকাউন্ট পরিচালনায় শীর্ষ প্রতিষ্ঠান ব্র্যাক ইপিএলের মাধ্যমে শেয়ারবাজারে বিনিয়োগ করছে। প্রতিষ্ঠানটি গত ডিসেম্বর থেকে বাংলাদেশের বাজার নিয়ে গবেষণা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে। পওে জুনের মাঝামাঝিতে ব্র্যাক ইপিএলে অ্যাকাউন্ট খোলে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি।

শেয়ারবাজার :::: শেয়ারবাজারে অব্যাহত দরপতনের প্রতিবাদে আজ রোববারও ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জের (ডিএসই) সামনে বিনিয়োগকারীরা বিক্ষোভ করেন। দুপুর ১২টার দিকে সূচক ১৬১ পয়েন্ট কমে গেলে তাঁরা রাস্তায় নেমে বিক্ষোভ করতে থাকেন। বেলা দুইটার দিকে বিক্ষোভ শেষ হয়। এ সময় শেয়ারবাজারে দরপতনের জন্য অর্থমন্ত্রীকে দায়ী করে তাঁর পদত্যাগ দাবি করে বিভিন্ন স্লোগান দিতে থাকেন বিনিয়োগকারীরা।বাংলাদেশ পুঁজিবাজার বিনিয়োগকারী ঐক্য পরিষদের ব্যানারে তাঁরা এ বিক্ষোভ করেন।দেশের শেয়ারবাজারে দরপতনের ধারা অব্যাহত ছিল। আজ ডিএসইর সাধারণ মূল্যসূচক ১৩৯.৭৪ পয়েন্ট কমে ৬,১২০.১৬ পয়েন্টে দাঁড়িয়েছে।আজ হাতবদল হওয়া ২৫৩টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে দাম বেড়েছে ২৪টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের, কমেছে ২২০টির আর অপরিবর্তিত রয়েছে নয়টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের শেয়ারের দাম। আজ ডিএসইতে ৫৬০ কোটি টাকা লেনদেন হয়।ডিএসইতে লেনদেনের শীর্ষে থাকা ১০ প্রতিষ্ঠানের তালিকায় রয়েছে বেক্সিমকো, এনবিএল, তিতাস গ্যাস, এমআই সিমেন্ট, কেয়া কসমেটিকস, ইউনাইটেড এয়ার, গ্রামীণফোন, আরএন স্পিনিং, মালেক স্পিনিং ও সোস্যাল ইসলামী ব্যাংক।

Finance Minister AMA Muhith now dropped another bombshell over the troubles on the bourses as he said those who are clamoring on the stock market are all “gamblers”, not real investors.
He said, “There are no investors on the share market now. Those who are there are all but gamblers.”
The finance minister came up with the blistering observations at a view-exchange meeting on ‘Overall Situation of the Country’ organized by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) at the Federation Bhavan in the capital Saturday.
“When share prices go up, they remain silent. And when the price indices take a downturn, these are the same people who trigger chaos,” said Muhith, against the backdrop of a repeat of street demonstrations by stock traders following a fresh big fall of stock prices. Finance Minister AMA Muhith now dropped another bombshell over the troubles on the bourses as he said those who are clamoring on the stock market are all “gamblers”, not real investors.
He said, “There are no investors on the share market now. Those who are there are all but gamblers.”

He said it cannot be that share prices would increase everyday. “This cannot be a market.”
With FBCCI president AK Azad in the chair, the meeting was also addressed, among others, by commerce minister M Faruk Khan, former Bangladesh Bank Governor Farash Uddin, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) executive director Iftekharuzzaman Chowdhury, former FBCCI president Annisul Haq and BGMEA president Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin.
