শেয়ারবাজার :::: অর্থমন্ত্রী আবুল মাল আবদুল মুহিত প্রস্তাবিত বাজেটে বেশ কিছু পণ্যের দাম বাড়ানোর প্রস্তাব করেছেন। এতে ওইসব পণ্যের দাম বাড়বে।
আমদানি ও সম্পূরক শুল্ক বৃদ্ধির ফলে পয সব পণ্যের দাম বাড়তে পারে তার মধ্যে রয়েছে প্রাথমিক ও মাধ্যমিক স্তরের জন্য আমদানি করা পাঠ্যপুস্তক, সিগারেট, বিড়ি, বিলাসবহুল চার দরজাবিশিষ্ট পিকআপ, বাস ও ট্রাকের টায়ার।
পরিশোধিত তামা, অপটিক্যাল ফাইবার কেবল, পানির ট্যাপ, তিন চাকার গাড়ির ব্যাটারি, ফেরো ম্যাঙ্গানিজ, ফেরো সিলিকন, ফেরো সিলিকো ম্যাঙ্গানিজ, টিন ক্যান, শব্দ প্রেরণ ও গ্রহণ যন্ত্র প্রভৃতি।
অন্যান্য দ্রব্যের মধ্যে রয়েছে বিদেশি ফোর স্ট্রোক মোটর সাইকেল, সব ধরনের গজ কাপড় ও প্রস্তুতকৃত কাপড়, মাছ, প্রসাধনী দ্রব্য ও সুগন্ধী।
এছাড়া বিদেশি আসবাবপত্র, জুতার পলিশ, টয়লেট পেপার, স্যানিটারি টাওয়েল ও ন্যাপকিন, রান্নাঘরে ব্যবহৃত কাচের সামগ্রী, গৃহে ব্যবহৃত ফ্যান, ফ্যানের যন্ত্রাংশ, বিভিন্ন বৈদ্যুতিক সুইচ, প্লাগ ও সকেটসহ বৈদ্যুতিক যন্ত্রপাতির দাম বাড়বে ।
আমদানি করা সুগার কনফেকশনারি, চকলেট, সিম কার্ডের ট্যারিফ ভ্যালুও বাড়ানো হয়েছে। তাই এসব আমদানি করা পণ্যেরও দাম বাড়বে।
36-hr hartal from Sunday Two major opposition parties -- the BNP and the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami -- called a countrywide 36-hours hartal from Sunday 6:00am to Monday 6:00pm protesting the government move to abolish the provision of caretaker government.
BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Jamaat acting Secretary General ATM Azharul Islam announced the hartal programme from press conferences at their party offices at Naya Paltan and Moghbazar in the capital Friday morning.
The BNP is also protesting the 51 recommendations of the parliamentary special committee on constitution amendment that was placed in the House on Wednesday, amendment to the constitution bypassing the opposition, price hike of essential commodities, deterioration of law and order, government’s failure to control stock market and crises of power, gas and water.
Earlier, BNP observed five hartal programmes on June 27, November 14 and 30 last year, and February 7 and June 5 this year to realise it’s various demands.
On the other hand, the Jamaat-e-Islami called the programme protesting several issues including insertion of secularism and socialism as principles of state policy and release of their top leaders.
