শেয়ারবাজার :::: বিএনপি ও জামায়াতের ডাকা টানা ৩৬ ঘণ্টা হরতালের দ্বিতীয় দিন সোমবার মতিঝিল ব্যাংকপাড়া ধীরে ধীরে স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ফিরে আসছে।
সকাল সাড়ে ৯টার দিকে মতিঝিল ব্যাংকপাড়ায় কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকসহ সরকারি-বেসরকারি ব্যাংক, বীমা এবং কর্পোরেট অফিসের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের উল্লেখযোগ্য উপস্থিতি লক্ষ্য করা গেছে।
এছাড়া কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের গভর্নর কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকে সকাল ৮টা ১০ মিনিটে আসেন।
সরকারি-বেসরকারি ব্যাংক এবং কর্পোরেট অফিসের কার্যক্রম সকাল সাড়ে ৯টা থেকে শুরু হয়।
সোনালী ব্যাংকের সহকারী পরিচালক সৈয়দ আবুল হোসেন বাংলানিউজকে বলেন, ‘আমরা স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ব্যাংকের কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে যাচ্ছি। তবে রোববার লেনদেনের পরিমাণ কিছুটা কম হয়েছিল। আশা করছি আজ (সোমবার) লেনদেনের পরিমাণ বেশি হবে।’
এদিকে সকাল সাড়ে ১০টায় ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জের(ডিএসই) তালিকাভুক্ত ব্রোকারেজ হাউজগুলোর মধ্যে ১৩১টি লগইন করেছে বলে জানিয়েছেন ডিএসইর ডিজিএম শফিকুর রহমান। যার ফলে সোমবার সকাল ১১ টায় ডিএসইর লেনদেন শুরু হবে।
মতিঝিল এলাকা ঘুরে দেখা গেছে, আগের দিনের চেয়ে সোমবার যানবাহন চলাচল কিছুসংখ্যক বেশি। এছাড়া দোকানপাটও উল্লেখযোগ্য হারে খুলেছে।

Meantime, pickets set fire to a bus, which was parked on Mazar road in Darussalam area at about 12:50am.
On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
Pallabi police said they held six people, including councillor of ward No-7 Munshi Bozlul Basid Anju, as they tried to bring out a procession in Mirpur section-6 at around 7:30am in support of the hartal.
The hartal was enforced by the main opposition BNP and its key ally Jamaat-e-Islami since 6:00am Sunday demanding continuation of caretaker government system and protesting at the recommendations of the parliamentary special committee on constitutional amendment.
Our Bogra correspondent reports, police picked up a youth, Saddam Hossain, from Naruli in the town at about 9:45am on charge of picketing.
The hartal supporters set a CNG-run auto-rickshaw ablaze and also vandalised at least 10 vehicles Sunday night.
On the first day of hartal, police arrested scores of protesters, including former BNP ministers Hafizuddin Ahmed and Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, at Mohakhali. Later, police filed two cases against them for torching vehicles at Mohakhali and Shahjadpur.
The authorities jailed at least 113 people on charges of attacking vehicles and disrupting public life on Sunday.
It is the longest hartal in duration since the Awami League-led grand alliance came to power.
This is the second opposition-sponsored hartal in a week.
Other two components of BNP-led alliance -- Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) and Islami Oikya Jote (Aminee) -- will also observe the non-stop shutdown.
