Economic affairs adviser to the Prime Minister Mashiur Rahman said insurances provide opportunity for small investors to minimize risk on their investment.
Growth of the insurance sector is necessary for efficient economic system, he added.
Small investors also prefer investment in share market which helped it to attain healthy growth, he added.

The company has achieved remarkable growth in the last 25 years with its efficiency, he added.
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) president Asif Ibrahim said contribution of insurances, banks and financial institutions is about 30 per cent of the GDP.
He expressed his hope on continuation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by those sectors.
