Record date: 23.12.10.The company has also reported Net profit after tax of Tk. 31.66 million, EPS of 10.36, NAV of 232.50 and Net operating cash flow per share of (7.35) for the year ended on June 30, 2010. The company has also informed that EPS during the period under review is comparatively lower due to dilution of paid-up capital as a result of Rights Issue of shares, the utilization of which has not been made fully yet.

পুঁজিবাজারে আবারও বড় ধরনের দরপতন হয়েছে। সপ্তাহের প্রথম কার্যদিবস রোববার ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে (ডিএসই) লেনদেন হওয়া ব্যাংক, বীমা, আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান, বিদ্যুৎ ও জ্বালানি, সিমেন্ট ও আইটি খাতের প্রায় সব শেয়ারের দাম কমেছে। দিনশেষে সাধারণ মূল্য সূচক আগের দিনের চেয়ে ২৮৪ দশমিক ৭৭ পয়েন্ট কমে ৮ হাজার ২৯৫ দশমিক ৪১ পয়েন্টে নেমে আসে। এটি একদিনে ডিএসই সর্বোচ্চ সূচকের পতন। এর আগে ১৯৯৬ সালের ৬ নভেম্বর একদিনে ২৩৩ পয়েন্ট কমেছিল। আজকের আগ পর্যন্ত ওটাই ছিল একদিনে সূচকের বড় ধরনের দরপতন। রোববার ডিএসইতে লেনদেন হওয়া ২৪৫টি কোম্পানির মধ্যে ১৯১টির শেয়ারের দাম কমেছে, বেড়েছে মাত্র ৫১টির। এদিন ব্যাংক, বীমা ও আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের শেয়ারের দরপতন ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো। এদিন লেনদেন হওয়া ৩০টি ব্যাংকের শেয়ারের মধ্যে সব কয়টির, ২১টি আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে ২০টির এবং ৪৩টি বীমা কোম্পানির মধ্যে ৪২টির শেয়ারের দাম কমেছে। তবে লেনদেন হওয়া বেশির ভাগ মিউচুয়াল ফান্ডের শেয়ারের দাম বেড়েছে। দিনশেষে লেনদেনের পরিমাণ ছিল ১ হাজার ৭১৭ কোটি ৩৬ লাখ টাকা। এটি আগের দিনের চেয়ে ৯৫ কোটি টাকা বেশি।
রোববার শেয়ারবাজারে বড় ধরনের বিপর্যয়ে বিনিয়োগকারীদের মধ্যে এক ধরনের অস্থিরতা সৃষ্টি হলেও বাজার বিশ্লেষকরা কোনো ধরনের আতঙ্কিত না হওয়ার জন্য বিনিয়োগকারীদের পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন। বাজারের এই দরপতনকে তারা সাময়িক মূল্য সংশোন বলে অভিহিত করে বলেন, ‘শিগগিরই এটি ঠিক হয়ে যাবে।’
এ ব্যাপারে ডিএসইর সাবেক সিনিয়র সহসভাপতি আহমেদ রশিদ লালী বাংলানিউজকে বলেন, ‘বাজারের দরপতনের পিছনে প্রধান তিনটি বিষয় কাজ করেছে। প্রথমত- বিনিয়োগকারীদের মধ্যে আত্নবিশ্বাসের অভাব দেখা দেওয়ার কারণে অনেক বিনিয়োগকারী এই মূহূর্তে বাজারে প্রবেশ করছে না। দ্বিতীয়ত- ব্যাংকিং সেক্টরে প্রফিট টেকিংয়ের কারণে এটি অন্য সেক্টরেও ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। তৃতীয়ত- বছর শেষ হওয়ার কারণে ব্যাংক ও আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠানহুলো তাদের পোর্টফোলিও পূণর্বিন্যাস করছে। আর তিনটি কারণেই বাজারে মূল্য সংশোধন হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে আতঙ্কিত হওয়ার কোনো কারণ নেই। বাজার দ্রুত সময়েই মূল্য সংশোধন কাটিয়ে উঠবে। বিনিয়োগকারীদের কোনো অবস্থাতেই লোকসানে মৌলভিত্তি সম্পন্ন শেয়ার বিক্রি করা ঠিক হবে না।’
